The stainless steel sculptures featured in this special exhibition are positioned in contrast to the organic nature of the Missouri Botanical Garden. In that vein, the signage and print collateral design for this event was a departure from the type of work most typical of the Garden’s Creative Services department.

The large entry sign is made up of panels of brushed silver aluminum composite material, cut to fit together like puzzle pieces. It is the Garden’s first foray into non-standard event signage. The plaques accompanying each artwork are cut into rhombic shapes. Though meant to take a backseat to the artwork on display, these pieces playfully reference the metal sculptures highlighted in the show.

In addition to the geometric signage, I also had the pleasure of designing the visitor map and other print collateral for this exhibition.
